What is it?
The Raleigh Windows Azure Boot Camp is a free, one-day deep dive class to get you up to speed on developing
for Windows Azure. The class will be presented by Brian Hitney (Microsoft Developer Evangelist) and Jim Duffy (TakeNote Technologies CEO and Microsoft Regional Director / MVP). The class will be a combination of lecture style presentations as well as a series of hands-on student labs so you can practice what you just learned.
Is it really free?
Yes, this training event is FREE!
The event sponsor will be providing drinks and snacks, but you will be on your own for lunch. This is a free training class after all. :-)
What do I need to bring?
Since this is a hands-on workshop it would kind of make sense for you to bring you laptop with you so you can work on the student labs. It is highly recommended that you have your machine (or a VM) loaded with the software listed here. Oh yeah, an extension cord or power strip would
help as well. The student lab files will be given to you during the event.
